Have you ever wondered why M. Night Shyamalan directs the way he does? Perhaps Frank Collison can answer your questions in this interview. There is that and much more about the underrated gem, “The Village” which was filmed in Pennsylvania. I for one would love to visit the still-standing set once I can confirm it’s location.

We also discussed and wondered why M. Night Shyamalan likes to use the color red in his movies. Not only it is quite obvious in “The Village” but it’s also used quite frequently in “The Sixth Sense” with Bruce Willis. If anyone could elaborate on that, please let me and Frank know.

M. Night Shyamalan is notorious for his unique directing style for his movies, and I believe that’s what sets him apart from other horror directors. The man is essentially a genius and I do thoroughly enjoy his films. If you like or dislike the movie, please let me know why and what could have been done differently.
