Ry Barrett, being dubbed a new horror icon in comparison to Jason Voorhees in this new slasher film that takes place in the woods of Northern Ontario. Obviously, Ry Barrett was chosen as the right actor for the role; thanks to Chris Nash, the director of the film, the kills are creative and gory enough to make any squeamish fan not want to watch the movie. However, I on the other hand will most definitely enjoy this movie.
With that being said, I would like to hear from the audience: can Johnny be compared to Jason Voorhees in this movie. And can he be the next horror icon?
My gut and (somewhat expertise) is telling me that he is. He may not be the new Jason Voorhees, but his status has definitely been elevated to the top of my list.
