Many crimes in the 21st century start with social media contact and this case is no different. In 2015, Leicestershire, England, 15 year old Kayleigh haywood is contact on social media by 27 year old Luke Harlow. The pair exchanged over 2000 messages within a few weeks of becoming Facebook friends, which resulted in an arranged meet up at Luke’s house. Sadly, the meeting would escalate following the arrival of Luke’s friend Stephen Beardman, resulting in Kayleigh’s untimely death…
