Then, the door opened, and James, the interviewer, walked in. He was even more handsome in person than in the company's website photos. His warm smile instantly put Sarah at ease.
"Sarah?" he called, and she stood up, extending her hand. "I'm James."
The interview began, but it felt more like a friendly conversation. They discussed her qualifications, career goals, and interests. Sarah was impressed by James's passion for the company and his genuine curiosity about her.
As the interview concluded, James said, "I'll be honest, Sarah. You're a fantastic fit for this role, but there's one thing I need to know. Are you open to mixing business with pleasure?"
