INDIA RAMEY has a dramatic story, a dramatic back ground and passionate songs. She is recognized by NPR and one of the 10 artists to watch. Growing up very poor, she is a domestic violence survivor, graduated college, got a law degree, became a District Attorney and domestic violence prosecutor.

ANNIE BARTHOLOMEW is an stunning folksinger from Juneu, Alaska and tells a rare, powerful human story in her new album. When the gold rush was on in the Yukon at the close of the 19th century, thousands of prospectors flooded into Alaska to seek their fortunes. With them came women who sought a better life, but whose options were often limited to sex work.
