Fire has good but also destructive properties. It can warm and thus preserve life, but it can also extinguish life through uncontrolled fire. For a fire to exist, it needs two things: combustible material and oxygen. If you remove one of the two, the fire will go out. We also know fire as an expression in the sense of a figurative comparison. The fire of passion or having an inner fire for something. In the vast majority of cases, this also has a positive connotation. And when we say that the inner fire has gone out - perhaps even in a relationship - we often don't mean anything good by it, but rather the loss of affection and commitment. My impulse for today is therefore: if you are in a situation in which a fire is threatening to destroy you or is already in the process of doing so - what fire nutrients can you extract from it? And where a fire is about to go out: what can you use to nourish and rekindle it?
