Suppose I gave you the task of drawing a bird - what would you do? Well, perhaps you are talented at drawing and then this task would not present you with any difficulties. But suppose you are not. Such a task could be stressful and in the end you might be dissatisfied and frustrated with the result because you couldn't put on paper what you had in your mind's eye. You may have tried to paint the bird as realistically as possible, but it just doesn't look very good. At least that would probably be my result. But there's another possibility: you simply paint two light arcs that hang together and then you automatically associate that these are birds flying far away in the sky. No details and yet it's clear what they are. Sometimes the solution lies in simplicity rather than trying to make it perfect.
