On July 20. 1969 the U.S. succeeded in putting a man on the Moon. In this episode we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing by looking at the history of the space program, World War II and the Nazi scientists, and some of the symbolic meanings wrapped up in the emblems of the Apollo space program. Through the lens of mythology and esotericism we look at the symbolism of the Moon, the Greek god Apollo and his sister Artemis. We also talk about the very different decades of the 1950s and 1960s by examining Apollo and Dionysus. Finally, we look at some masculine and feminine symbols connected to the space program and the eras out of which it grew. Hosted by Jason Napolitano, author of If You Can Worry, You Can Meditate (available on Amazon and at CosmicEye.org) and Co-Hosted by Chris Sheridan author of Spirit in the Sky (available now on ChrisSheridan.com.)
