🎵In the early 2000s, Fender Guitar released a limited number of Number One Stratocaster Replicas - built to the exact specifications as Stevie Ray Vaughan's cherished 'first wife' guitar. However, while I was deep diving into Stevie Ray Vaughan's life and guitars for my channel, I came across what I believe is a fatal flaw in the reissues. The number one reissues have no sign of a Mickey Mantle autograph. Furthermore, nowhere on the internet (that I could find) does it even mention that Number One was signed by Mickey Mantle. EVERYWHERE talks about how LENNY (Stevie's *OTHER* guitar, given to him by his ex-wife) was signed by Mickey. I strongly feel as though Mickey's autograph on Number One was Stevie's favorite thing about the guitar. I am so disappointed that Mickey's signature isn't part of Stevie's legacy and I strongly believe Fender should reissue the guitar with the autograph (and give me half the proceeds because I figured it out.)
