Catherine Wreford - a mom, winner of the Amazing Race Canada season 8, Broadway dancer, former nurse, and terminal brain cancer fighter joins me today to share her story of overcoming and healing from diet culture, hustle culture and settling for less than she deserves in life.

I invited Catherine onto the show after seeing a post she made about having food freedom over the holidays. The biggest message she shares in this episode is "just do it". Make the changes you want to make BEFORE your back is up against the wall. Don't take one single moment for granted. Don't let others take you for granted. Don't let diet culture take you for granted.

We chat about:

  • How dancing impacted her relationship with food & body image
  • Her cancer diagnosis
  • How her diagnosis changed her relationship with food
  • Leaving a marriage that was no longer a safe space
  • Finding joy & kindness as a means of self-love

This one is sure to tug on your heart strings!

If you’re looking to leave the diet cycles in 2023 and start healing your relationship with food, take Catherine's advice and JUST DO IT!
