In this episode we're joined by public policy professional and Black Cultural Archives Trustee, Rukayah Sarumi. We discuss the recent report into maternal mortality that showed that Black women in the UK were 5x more likely to die in the period from pregnancy to one year post-childbirth. We offer better ways to frame the discussion on Black women's health and areas that need to be improved.
