You are born spiritually dead; therefore, you must be born again to go to heaven. Otherwise, you will be condemned to live forever in the Lake of Fire. “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 1:3). Only your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross will allow you to be born again. Pray and tell God the Father that you believe His Son Jesus Christ paid for your sins on the cross. Accept His free gift of salvation by faith, not works. “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life” (John 6:40). The moment you are born again, your new life in Christ begins.
