Barca have been at the crossroads. For a while now.Bad financial planning, boardroom scuffles, bad governance, Covid and the slow retirement of a once in lifetime generation of players who made them the best club in the world for a while.
The latest in the same series is Xavi resigning. Barca's 8th coach in 12 years. Laporta's second coming surely hasn't been as successful as his first one but it's also true that the situation he inherited is a lot more complex than last time and given the enormity of the task, he should be measured in different parameters.
