Hi! My name is KJ and welcome to My Trans Masculine Life. Today, I wanted to discuss how being socialized as female/not socialized as male have affected me. I talk a little about toxic masculinity in trans spaces, and my own struggles to carve out a space for my own identity to burgeon and take shape--despite not knowing exactly what it even means to "be a man". Spoiler: it's a definition one has to create for themselves. Don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong.
In this podcast we explore my transition, some of my beliefs, what I'm up to. I plan to post monthly about my own personal anecdotes; living as a transgender person can be challenging at times and mundane at others. But I have big goals, and I want to share them here.
