Chair of the Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, April 17. She discussed the recently announced retirement of Town Manager Bonnie Hammersley. She also discussed the most recent meeting of the board of commissioners, which included discussion of the HOME Investment Partnership Program, and upsate to the Lands Legacy Action Plan, and doing some voter education on the upcoming school bond referendum. She also discussed the upcoming opening of the 203 S. Greensboro building in Carrboro, which will house the Southern Branch of the Orange County Library, Carrboro Parks and Rec, and more.
