Corregan Brown is one of the educators on our Be the Bridge Training team. He takes a few minutes to share a little history with the BTB Community. He talks about the significant role of the public sector in building Black wealth and the Black middle class in the United States. He explores historical interactions between Black Americans and the public sector, the impact of key historical events such as Reconstruction and the Civil Rights Movement, and the ongoing challenges faced today in achieving equality of opportunity. Corregan leaves us with an important question to ponder.
