First, we discuss "Becoming Led Zeppelin," which traces the origins of one of the greatest bands in rock history. It's been playing for the past week in IMAX, and if you can see it that way, it's like being at a concert with that huge screen and incredible sound. Expanding to more theaters nationwide today.
We also discuss the latest film from Questlove, "Sly Lives! (aka The Burden of Black Genius)," about Sly Stone of Sly & the Family Stone. The film explores Stone's musical ingenuity as well as his struggles with substance abuse, and features interviews with artists who help put his greatness into perspective. Streaming on Hulu.
