Light Themes!
After 9 years of Dark themes, Podcast Addict finally add light Themes.
The default light theme is available for every users, then colored variants will be added for Premium users.
You can also set the app to follow the system settings in which case the app will show the selected Light/Dark modes.
Playlist filter by episode Duration
When you're selecting a category to listen to, the app allows you to filter the list of episodes displayed.
You can filter by download status, publication date, ...
This new version adds a new filter which allows you to filter by episode duration as well.
This will only work when the podcast author provides the duration information in the podcast RSS feed and for downloaded episodes. Also, this doesn't take into account the playback speed.
Favorite episodes and deletion
If you're using the Archive mode so the app can always have X episodes of your favorite podcasts downloaded at all time, then this update might be useful to you.
As you can set the app to prevent Favorites episodes from being deleted automatically, those episodes were being counted as part as the quota of downloaded episodes to keep. Now with this new update that won't be case anymore.
Also, when using the 'Delete Played episodes' function, Favorites episodes will be ignored if the app is set to keep Favoriets episodes. That wasn't the case for now).
Bug fixes
- Improved time code parsing in episode shownotes when those notes are not properly formatted.
- When sorting the app main screen by publication date, the app will now ignore PLAYED episodes IF you're hiding them. This means that the main screen will be sorted by unplayed episodes publication date in that case.
- Minor fixes.
