Improved UI

The episode show note screen has been updated to show available actions in a single line at the top of the actual show notes.
I also added a new action to easily access the current podcast episodes' list. All those actions are also available from the player screen by swiping left.

Season information

Some podcasts can be organized in seasons. In that case the app will automatically show the season information as a prefix of the episode title in screens showing a list of episodes.
Podcasts can also have some special episodes like TRAILER and BONUS episodes. The app will add a specific prefix in that case so you can know if you want to skip or listen to those episodes.

For example, Wondery usually posts a trailer for their new shows in their other existing podcasts. If you don't want to listen to them, you will identify them quickly with the new display, but you can also set the app to skip these episodes automatically by setting a filter in the podcast Custom settings.

Find podcasts based on episode duration

You can now find new podcasts to listen to based on the episode average duration.
To do this, press on the main screen + button to add a new podcast, then scoll down the list of popular podcasts and you will see a new section called Podcasts by Duration.

Those filters will allow you to find podcasts with episodes shorter than 10 minutes for example. Then you can filter the results by category, if you want for example only to get a list of News podcasts shorter than 10 minutes.

  • You can now tap the timecode in YouTube show notes to start playing from a specific position.
  • You can now select multiple episodes in the playlist and move them at once to be played next.
  • The player widget can now include a button to toggle the playback speed on/off (Settings/Widget).
