American teenager Mia McQuillin is in police custody in Paris after she gave birth in a hotel room and threw the newborn from a window, according to European media reports. An organization confirms McQuillin, 18, was taking a gap year. McQuillin is accused of "child homicide" and "denial of pregnancy" is being investigated as a theory behind the crime.
