Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the Jewish High Holidays, are commonly thought of as solemn days of repentance. In truth, they are joyous days celebrating our return to God. The secularization of the world is at the root of all problems, and a return to God can have larger implications than the personal relationship reestablished on the Jewish High Holidays.
