No matter what we do, we just don’t feel quite at home even when things are going well. This is because our long sought home is in heaven with Jesus. When we walk by faith we have a more sure hope of that home to come.

“The Death of Saul” • 1st Samuel 31 & 2nd Samuel 1 – Brother Jonah Lowrance. King Saul is the sad example of a child of God that stopped walking by faith and sought comfort and confidence in this world. He died miserably but David laments his death and the death of his son Jonathan. This shows us how we should view fellow children of God who have brought destruction into their lives. We should view them with pity, mercy, and love.
