Previously on Creative Distillation, Brad and Jeff visited Pits & Stems, a real-live speakeasy located somewhere in Old North Boulder.
They were joined by Larry Plummer, a PhD from CU who’s now the Director of the Ivey New Venture Project and an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Ivey Business School at Western University in London, Ontario.
Pits & Stems proprietor Ethan Decker stays with us, continuing to mix some of the finest cocktails we’ve experienced as the four of them discuss Larry’s research on geography and entrepreneurship, and the remarkably strong linkage between where you launch your startup and its probability of success.
Speaking of linkage, we also learn there’s a strong probability that Larry and Ethan are related.
Enjoy and cheers!
