Putin and Erdogan held a press conference in Moscow, after coming to an agreement to de-escalate the conflict in Idlib province. Putin extracted most of what he wanted from the Turkish leader, while giving Erdogan yet another off ramp from his misadventures in Syria, and a way for him to save face as he travels back to Turkey.
