Sarah Marder grew up on a farm in Kansas, and she’s a corporate-manager-turned-filmmaker who has lived in Italy since 1988. Since 2008, she’s been working on the documentary about which we’re going to chat today – “The Genius of a Place,” about sustainable development as seen through the lens of Cortona in Tuscany.
