I’m happy to share a few things about myself but if you want to know the truth, I would rather be talking about you. But be forewarned, I would ask you a lot of questions. I tend to do that. Even though I am a bit of an introvert, I love learning about people. I love hearing stories and imagining what it would be like to feel and experience the things someone else does. That’s what inspires me to write. I feel drawn to unlocking and expressing the feelings of the heart through music. “On every CD that I do, there’s always a song that is meant for the moments when we just feel that our heart is breaking into pieces.” “It’s one of those songs that kind of wrote itself. I just had to be there with a piece of paper and a pencil because I feel like God wanted that message to be available, and that’s what the whole song is about… what it’s like when pain and grace collide.” 0:00 - Early life- growing up in Alaska, BYU, meeting her husband 17:42 - Missing little moments- Hilary’s new song “Be Where You Are” 21:01 - Following her passion for Christian music 27:38 - Cultural differences in regard to Christian music versus “Mormon” music 31:46 - Changes in music and music consumption- Hilary’s innovative answer 36:40 - “At the Same Time” – when pain and grace collide 41:02 - Life during corona and upcoming plans 44:03 - Ending questions Hilary’s Website liveallintoday.com (In light of all that is happening in the world, Hilary is offering a free month’s subscription to her website which includes, amongst other things, the ability to download her new song “Be Where You Are”) Follow Hilary Instagram Facebook
