“My wife is a collegiate librarian, and she and some colleagues are talking about putting together a display for Women's History Month about female comic characters/creators. My wife and I are both fans of various "mainstream" comic franchises, but we're woefully ignorant of most of what's out there beyond the most visible properties. So I thought I might ask the expert(s)!The idea is basically to highlight a handful of female comic book characters; most likely it would be one Marvel, one DC, and then two "other" figures. She also wants three or four authors or artists. “
