Christina has been practicing in the field of addiction and mental health since 2003 and is currently a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Her credentials include Certified Domestic Violence Counselor, Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, and Certified Co-occurring Disorder Specialist. Christina has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, which support her passion as Family Services Coordinator. She is also a military veteran and has grown up in a military family. As a result, she lends her understanding experience, and expertise as our Heroes Group facilitator, with a specific focus on the emotional and psychological health of military veterans and first responders in their recovery journey. Christina received her first Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in 2012 which equipped her with techniques applicable to areas of law enforcement, military, homeland security, corrections, forensic consulting, and performing psychological autopsies. She received her second Master’s degree in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2016, which opened up her scope of competence and practice in the mental health and chemical dependency field.
