June Angelides sits down with three of her dear friends - Antonia Dawes, Omowumi Etiko and Rav Bumbra. One friend she met at primary school, one at university and one during her entrepreneurial career. Today they meet for the first time to talk about the importance of friendship and navigating the ups and downs of 2020.

Antonia Dawes is a Lecturer at King’s College London. She researches and teaches on racism and militarism from an antiracist and feminist political perspective. Omowum Etiko is a travel and tourism expert with over 12 years’ experience in human resource
management as well as travel and logistics management across industries. She is the founder and CEO of nuSafiri Hospitality which comprises of the nuSafiri Experience (focused on luxury
bespoke travel) and nuSafiri Consulting (focused on Human Resource Management within the
Hospitality industry). She is also a co-founder of V’aarty, a virtual party concierge focused on
organizing virtual experiences through various online platforms to leverage the times.

Rav is a mum, entrepreneur, tech enthusiast, board advisor and diversity champion who is passionate about helping women see technology as a great career choice. She is founder of Structur3dpeople, a tech business that helps organisations attract, recruit and retain talent. She is also founder of Cajigo, an app that provides mentoring and support to empower girls and women into tech careers. Rav works closely with girls in education delivering Cajigo Schools, a programme that is raising aspirations and demystifying what it means to be a “Woman in STEM” She is also host of Women Talk Tech, a Cajigo Instagram LIVE series that showcases role models in tech and their career journeys.
