The elephant, life-size (about 4 metres high), is an evocative work that mixes the sacred and the profane, oriental and occidental culture, myth and history, irony and allegory, representing a perfect synthesis of Luigi Ontani’s art in which he is always a protagonist. The artist is present as the main actor in the story, the face of the elephant, in the photos that decorate it, the face of the Indian divinity, are all parts of a single dreamlike journey.
