Pnina Weiss Peretz made Aliya from Dallas, Texas, together with her family in 1992. In September 2002, she lost her 21-year-old brother Ari who was a soldier in the Israeli army. Ari, H'yd, was killed saving his friend's life when they were both shot performing guard duty.
