Angalia is an award-winning author of the book "IN DEEP" Activist and Violence Interrupter. From the age 9, she became addicted to heroin, roamed the streets of Chicago, thus spiraling into a life of crime including prostitution, drugs, hanging out with gangs not to mention a couple of terms in prison but, the very last time in prison after being transferred to a halfway house she had a word with God and said "God, if you take the taste of heroin out of my mouth, I will do everything in my power to help the youth on the streets as much as I can' and she did. As a Violence Interrupter, she once went on the very same streets in the crime-ridden neighborhoods she once called home..While this is merely one of many layers in Angalia's life, she is the epitome of what 'being the change you need to be in your life' looks like

Angalia has also been invited as a guest speaker across the United States including having an audience made up of law enforcement to speak on subject matter including the rising opioid abuse, violence, and the many issues facing troubled youth and adults in today's society. One of her biggest international engagements was in Abu Dhabi with a global audience of senior-level executives whose primary work includes: Human Trafficking/Smuggling, Anti Terrorism, Violence, and Drugs. www.AngaliaBianca.com
