In today’s podcast I am talking to P. Susan Jackson – or Sue Jackson - Sue is a specialist in Highly, exceptionally and Profoundly Gifted Persons, of all ages. She is the founder of the Daimon Institute where she supports the overall development of Exceptionally and Profoundly Gifted people of all ages around the globe.

Sue has extensive clinical and developmental expertise supporting highly exceptionally and profoundly gifted persons, having completed over 80,000 hours of psychotherapy with this exceptional population. She is also a keynote speaker, spreading her knowledge and being a beacon of hope and inspiration for gifted people everywhere.

Through her model Sue presents a holistic view of what it means to be profoundly gifted. We talk about the need to find your authentic SELF as a gifted individual. The whole system is affected by all aspects of the self and in order to thrive it is necessary the all lines of development are integrated. The role of the self it to coordinate all these lines. This is absolutely necessary, because you are only as strong as the weakest link. This exceptional group of people can only thrive if they can fully engage all aspects of their being in their life. In this regard, we also discuss the impact of the school system and the role people within this system can play to have children find their place in the world and their daimon. Flexibility and understanding are both necessities. Another ‘must’ we talk about is the presence of ‘peers’. As human beings we all need connection to thrive and develop a healthy self-esteem. The profoundly gifted are no exception… If you want to know more about P. Susan Jackson, you can visit https://daimoninstitute.com.
