More than 34,000 Palestinians have been killed including 14,500 children in Gaza since October 7th. Starvation and bombardments in Gaza are threatening the lives of many more, and have displaced over a million people. On the West Bank, settlements are expanding and violence committed by settlers threatens the livelihood and lives of civilians while military checkpoints make it impossible for them to move freely. In this situation, it is crucial to listen to perspectives of young people offering a peek into the lives of those experiencing the consequences. Young people have a unique ability to challenge current patterns and provide important insights. At this event, young people from the Youth Advisory Panel in Palestine and the newly formed Danish Palestinian and Jewish Alliance for a Just Peace give their perspectives on rights, polarisation and peacebuilding through their own stories and hopes for the future.
