Today I have Matthew Tannam-Elgie of Commendable Commotion joining me to talk about his upcoming documentary project, Mothman: The Film That Never Was. He relays his experiences talking to the cast and crew of this abandoned 1990s full-length feature film, set to be directed by the popular animator Doug TenNapel. Matthew’s research has uncovered an intriguing story lurking behind this piece of lost media—a story that has resonances with my own explorations into the high strangeness in the Point Pleasant area and leads to an intriguing documentary that unearths forgotten or hidden history in small town America. Keep an eye out for the release of this impeccably researched and directed film by following Matthew at the links down below or go see the premiere at this year’s Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant!
