"Sam Chase is a lifelong champion for affordable housing, climate-friendly transportation, clean air and water, parks and nature, jobs, and building a culture of equity and inclusion that drives good governance.
For Sam, the need for affordable housing and services for the vulnerable is personal as well as a professional commitment. As a teenager, Sam lost his father to mental illness and drug addiction. Sam believes that everyone should have the support they need to succeed in life – like affordable housing, healthcare, jobs, and clean air and water.
Sam lives in Northeast Portland with his partner, their 4 children, dog and cat. He received his B.A. from Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges."
