Hi, welcome to “As an Artist.” A Local Famous Records podcast about local artists, their art, the creative process and the local scene. My name is Anthony Sosa and thank you for joining us. On this episode we have Eric Lara, Moose Mora and Johnny Hill from the epic, local, heavy progressive band Wolves Reign. I’ve actually had the pleasure of playing with Wolves Reign back in the day with The Raven Charter at Tomcats West and it was great to get to know these guys, their past and how they tick. Last year they released their first full length album: “Human Nature.” A meaningful, beautiful and hard hitting record recorded with Alex Gerst. I really enjoyed talking to Eric, Moose, and Johnny about their processes and influences and how they all met at college and how though there have been changes over the years, these guys have been playing together the whole time. Eleven years and counting. We talk about what that means to them, as well as get into some gear talk and a bit about the making of the album.
