In this Episode we hear more stories and interviews from people in Cobar NSW. Cobar is known as a mining town, a region with stunning Aboriginal rock art, culture and heritage..and a big community spirit!

Alma, Faye and the Ladies Golf Group tell us all about meeting up with each other, socialising and encouraging each other to play. They also all agree about how generous the Cobar community is!




Elizabeth Whiteman and Lillian Simpson interview each other about their lives..so far. Lillian speaks candidly about how she came to Cobar, her heartbreak with cancer, and remembers the fun of the Grey Mardi Gras. Elizabeth moved to Cobar with her family when she was young, loves Cobar, the red dirt, the community.. Anni van der Westhuizen owns a number of businesses in Cobar. An entrepreneur and adventurer all the way from South Africa, she landed in Cobar with her husband..had moments of doubt...and has now been here for 4 years …”bought a house ...here to stay!”




Rick Ohlsen is a Ngemba Man. Rick chats about his early childhood on a property, taking care of his family from an early age and how life skills come into his current work at national parks and wildlife.




Susan Singleton was born in Katoomba, grew up on a farm in the outback Louth. Susan has a curious and diverse range of skills, is an artist and a cake decorating competitor!
