In today's episode, I speak to Courtney Cowie. Courtney is a certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner with a background in bodywork therapy and Chinese Medicine. She holds a Master’s Degree in Japan Studies from the
University of Washington and spent 3.5 years living and studying in Tokyo, where she first experienced the healing potential of Chinese Medicine and a holistic health approach. A former competitive swimmer and Big Ten lightweight rower, Courtney experienced her own gut health breakdown as a result of over-training, over-achieving, nutrient deficiencies and toxic exposure. She takes a practical, problem-solving approach to her work, blending mind-body intuition with functional medicine. She believes the body’s symptoms are its wisdom in
action and empowers her clients to take ownership of their health through education, lifestyle change, and natural solutions. Courtney is committed to creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space while instilling hope and confidence in her clients' ability to heal.
