There are few professional anglers with the laid back swag of Mercury pro John Murray. The Tennessee-based pro has a resume that few can match, with a four-decade career that caught fire in the glory days of the West Coast tournament scene.
Murray stopped by the MLF camera house at a recent tournament, we hooked a microphone up, plunked it on the table and had a blast with Murray talking about cool old fishing tackle, his days as an honest-to-good professor of bass fishing, the personalities of the West Coast bass scene, and his early memories of a young pro by the name of Aaron Martens.
This was just an enjoyable conversation with one of the most likable guys in the world of tournament bass fishing. Audion is a little echoey, but that's the beauty of the Pop Up Podcast. Enjoy!
