In this episode, we discuss the challenge of helping adolescents achieve and maintain healthy body image, and the importance and value of creating healthy connections with others. Our guest, Dr. Elicia Nademin, offers insight and tips on how to keep our families healthy and thriving, and how to create powerful, lasting connections with others.

Dr. Nademin is a board certified psychologist in behavioral and cognitive psychology. She works full-time as a home-based primary care psychologist for elderly veterans, maintains a small part-time private practice, is a business owner in the anti-aging skincare
industry, and lectures annually on professionalism, communication, behavioral medicine, and diversity.

She has been involved in standard-setting and curriculum development for communication, interpersonal skills, and behavioral medicine for students of osteopathic
medicine. She has held multiple leadership roles in the Arizona Psychological Association and has long overseen diversity advocacy efforts in her community. Dr.Nademin also serves as the Arizona Early Career Psychologist Ambassador to the American Board of
Professional Psychology.

She most enjoys watching people dream differently as they grow in confidence and leadership skills. She has explored diverse strengths in unique and unexpected ways and delights in watching and helping to empower others through leadership
and inspiration. In her free time, Dr. Nademin spends time traveling, volunteering, and enjoying quality time with her mother, friends, and dog Kaylie. In her respective roles, Dr. Nademin helps others build confidence, relationship skills, and community while
promoting diversification, serving others on a global platform.
