It's my favorite time of the year for the podcast, yes, the Black History Month marathon begins this week and will run from now and into March and for the Month of February, I had an idea. Since there is a subset of people who want to try and erase, bury and withhold our history from the public, all month we are watching Black films, by Black directors about or inspired by real events in Black history. What better way to start than with what could be debated as being Spike Lee's greatest achievement, Malcolm X. We couldn't cover this film without PJ, so he is back with us this week as well. We celebrate the man, his influence and Spike Lee's contribution to the culture with one of our own and we hope you can join us and enjoy the show.
