GLADIATOR II is an absolute epic. Ridley Scott is in top form with masterful directing and incredible set pieces. Paul Mescal delivers a career best performance alongside a tour de force showing by Denzel Washington. Connie Nielsen and Pedro Pascal were great as well. 2000’s Gladiator is one of my favorite films, and the sequel honors it perfectly while evolving the tale further.
