In Jesus' birth, the Eternal Word of God, God's Son, unites Himself to our humanity. Our salvation rests on this One who is both God and Man. This knowledge of Christ's two natures is more than just theological conclusion, however. It is absolutely necessary for our faith, so that our hope is fixed on the One who is the perfect and infinite God, and yet also man.
