In this Sunday School lesson, covering Gal. 3:17-18, we begin with an overview of the six main biblical Covenants, their order, and approximate dates. Then, we look at the timing of the confirmation of the Mosaic Covenant, how it was "of God", and how it was "in Christ". Then, we look at the limitations of the Mosaic Law, and how it cannot nullify the fulfillment of the promises of God's Covenant with Abraham. Then, we look at the inheritance promised to Christ in vs. 18, and how the principle of the entire passage is that, even though no man can keep the Mosaic Law, it doesn't nullify God's offer of the Abrahamic promises to any person, if he repents from his sins and trusts in the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
