RIZZ & THE BELIEVERZ was founded by Troy Luccketta, former Tesla drummer and longtime player, along with Rizz, a young and charasmatic singer-songwriter whose soulful voice and poignant songwriting captivate audiences. Due to overwhelming and popular demand after the April release of their debut single “Don’t Stop Tryin’,” they released their self-produced debut five-song EP EVERYDAY PEOPLE on Friday, May 10 on their own label Blessings & Love Records with distribution via Select-O-Hits and it is now available on all digital outlets. Their sound is a mix of REGGAE/ROCK/HIP HOP and the record was mixed by Grammy Award-winner Steve Marcantonio (Taylor Swift, John Lennon), mastered by Grammy Award winner Nathan Dantzler (Gwen Stefani, Teddy Swims), and features an appearance by Wilburn "Squidly" Cole on “Can We Go.” RIZZ AND THE BELIEVERS band lineup is stellar: Troy Luccketta (Drums)...Rizz (Vocals/Songwriter)...Peter Keys (Keys) who brings the soulful essence of Lynyrd Skynyrd to the band...Michael Devin (Bass), the bass maestro from White Snake who lays down the foundation with his rhythmic brilliance...John Salaway (Guitar), a Grammy-considered true musical polymath...Michael Staetrow (Guitar), the guitar luminary from Lou Gramm’s world... and Troy Luccketta Jr. (Percussion) taking after his father on percussion.
