Word of God finds itself along with the presentation of the Gospel that persecution is not far away. In one instance, the Apostle Paul addresses the Thessalonians and in His letter, he writes in 1st Thessalonians chapter two, verse thirteen saying "For this cause also thank we #God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that #believe." This particularly reveals that the Gospel came to the Thessalonians, and they heard the #Gospel and received it. Here they not only were just #Believers at that point, but they received not as a mere word of men as Paul says above. Not at all, these people received it as the Word of God and became followers of the #ChurchesofGod in Judaea. The very area where Paul specified that this area was where the Jews killed the #LordJesus and their own #prophets and #persecuted the #Apostles. #WordofGod
