Hey beach lovers and wave chasers! Nick here with your coastal adventure forecast for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

Buckle up because today's gonna be a wild ride! We're looking at some serious surf with waves climbing 4 to 6 feet along our beautiful coastline. Southwest winds are howling around 20 miles per hour, so prepare for some serious action.

Listen up surfers and swimmers - we've got a HIGH rip current risk through this evening. Translation: these waters are not messing around. The ocean is basically telling you to be smart and cautious.

Water temps are chilly ranging from 55 to 60 degrees, so grab that wetsuit. The day starts partly sunny but expect some thunderstorm drama rolling in after 4 PM. Temperatures will cruise into the upper 70s - not too shabby!

For all you tide trackers, here's your quick reference. Jacksonville Beach hits low tide at 6:15 AM and peaks high at 12:10 PM. St. Augustine Beach follows a similar rhythm with low tide at 6:17 AM and high tide at 12:15 PM.

Tomorrow brings a mellower scene - surf drops to 3 to 4 feet with moderate rip current risk. West winds continue but the thunderstorm threat vanishes. Expect sunny skies and temperatures cooling down to the mid 60s.

Looking ahead to the weekend, we're seeing smaller 1 to 2 foot waves with a mix of sun and potential light showers. Sunday might bring more cloud cover and increased shower chances.

Stay safe, respect the ocean, and catch those waves responsibly! This is Nick, signing off.
