Good morning, Jacksonville! This is your Weather Whiz coming to you with the latest forecast that's more exciting than a beach day in the Sunshine State of Florida.
Today's looking absolutely stellar - we've got a sunny day headed our way with temperatures climbing to a comfortable 69 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will start off from the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour, then do a little dance and shift southeast in the morning. Expect some gusty moments up to 16 miles per hour, so maybe hold onto your beach hat!
As we roll into tonight, expect mostly clear skies with temperatures dipping down to a cool 53 degrees. The southeast winds will be hanging around at about 9 miles per hour before switching to the west after midnight.
Saturday's bringing a slight chance of excitement - a 20 percent chance of showers after 4 pm. We'll see partly sunny skies and temperatures warming up to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be playful, coming from the southwest at 6 to 11 miles per hour with gusts up to 17 miles per hour.
Saturday night gets a bit more dramatic with likely showers after 1 am. Temperatures will stay mild around 60 degrees with a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
Sunday is looking like a wet adventure with an 80 percent chance of showers and possibly thunderstorms. Temperatures will hover near 74 degrees with south winds up to 20 miles per hour.
The early part of next week continues the wet trend, with Monday showing showers likely before 1 pm, and then things start to clear up. By Tuesday and Wednesday, we're looking at gorgeous sunny days with temperatures climbing to 72 and 77 degrees respectively.
Thursday might throw in a surprise with a 30 percent chance of showers, but mostly sunny conditions prevail.
