Good morning, Jacksonville! This is your weather update for Monday, March 10th, coming straight from the National Weather Service.

Buckle up for a wet and wild start to the week! We've got showers and thunderstorms rolling through, so grab those umbrellas and raincoats. Overnight, expect temperatures dipping to around 59 degrees Fahrenheit with south winds around 10 miles per hour. We're looking at a 90 percent chance of precipitation, with rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch.

Monday's forecast is pretty soggy too. Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 1 pm, with a high near 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be breezy from the west at 13 to 16 miles per hour, with gusts up to 24 miles per hour. Expect another half to three-quarters of an inch of rain.

Things start to clear up Monday night, with temperatures dropping to around 48 degrees Fahrenheit. By Tuesday, we'll see sunny skies and a pleasant high of 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

The rest of the week looks pretty spectacular clear skies, sunshine, and temperatures climbing to near 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Saturday brings a bit more excitement with a 30 percent chance of showers and breezy conditions.

Sunday caps off the week with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, so keep those weather apps handy!
